Founded in April, Aries Tickets is a new platform that allows college students to easily buy and sell tickets for upcoming sporting events. Students looking to exchange, buy, or sell tickets can use Aries Tickets to facilitate safe, secure, and reliable transactions.
In 2020, Agam Jain and Bryce Hartzel, both of whom are recent college graduates, were reminiscing about the enjoyment they felt attending basketball and football games at their universities. However, they also both remembered that, being busy and active college students, they were oftentimes unable to use previously purchased tickets and that there was no easy or secure way to sell such superfluous tickets.
Jain and Hartzel decided that they should simply create a platform that would facilitate such transactions. After around a year of work, Aries Tickets was launched. Jain and Hartzel introduced their new enterprise at IU for the Fall 2021 football season. The platform is also available for the basketball season.
As students are currently confined to using GroupMe chats, Facebook groups, and other group chats, to buy and sell secondhand tickets, Jain and Hartzel believe that their platform fills a much needed role. Students will no longer be forced to engage in cumbersome negotiations over price, be scammed out of their money or tickets, or have to spend hours searching for a seller or buyer.
Using Aries Tickets, sellers can confidently price their tickets, buyers can locate their desired tickets in seconds, and both can be sure that they will not be the victim of fraud.
